Taylor Bennet- Lollapalooza 2018: Programming Process

10 Days Until Show

We were contacted about 10 days out from show day to program an hour long set. Day 10 consisted of going over Vectorworks plots, understanding the designer’s vision, and beginning to organize the GMA2 showfile.

7 Days Out

After Designer direction and insights were given, our team kicked into high gear and began programming. Working on a rig of this size required hours and hours of pre-visualization, to ensure the Designer and Artist received exactly what they were looking for. 3D Renderings like these are imperative for shows of this size and clients of this stature.

2 Days Out

Final Programming and 3D designs are reviewed by the Designer. Small changes are made and a few cues are added.

Show Day

Final touch ups are made, lights are focused, and the show is Designer approved
